MILWAUKEE, July 25 /EMWPresswire/ -- At its July 24 meeting,

the Smith Investment Company (Pink Sheets: SMIC) Board of Directors voted

to increase the company's quarterly dividend 7 percent to $.30 per share.

The dividend will be payable Sept. 2 to shareholders of record Aug. 15.
