Please help me and my children get on our feet after my husband died from stage 4 lung cancer. My husband Didn’t have life insurance we didn’t think anything like this could happen he was only 32 years old. Please help my family

In February of 2015, Durrell Simmons was diagnosed with stage four large cell neuroendocrine cancer at the age of 32 . He is married to Amanda Simmons and together they have 5 children Jeremiah 8 , Durrell Jr 6, Elijah 5, Troy 3 and baby Ava just celebrated her 1st birthday.

Durrell underwent brain surgery on June 14th to remove one of his tumors. Unfortunately the small part Doctors were not able to remove has since grown. The tumors on his leg are also spreading. This type of cancer is very aggressive and despite being on a vicious cycle of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. As of August 2015 Durrell has been given approximately 1 week to 4 months to spend with his family.

This fundraiser is being held to help raise funds for costs associated with his ever mounting medical expenses, as well as his eventual homegoing services. We are all praying every single day for a miracle but in the meantime we want Durrell to feel comfortable and not have to worry about anything but spending time with his wife and children! We didn’t have life insurance for Durrell he was only 32 we never thought anything like this could ever happen we wasn’t ready for what was coming. Im a single mom of 5, I don’t have any help and I’m asking for help
